Ross Seddon, founder of The Project Centre, began work in 1972 in banking, then from 1976 had various management roles in Timbersales Ltd, achieving the role of General Manager of Timbersales – Auspine between 1989 – 1992 a major timber producer, importer and wholesaler throughout Australia, with offices in Malaysia and Singapore and Auckland .
Ross subsequently joined Retailer McEwan’s in Melbourne and upon sale of business to Bunnings decided it was time to have a go for himself and the establishment of The Project Centre – Narre Warren became reality in July 1994.

The Project Centre – Narre Warren became a specialist retail timber, roofing, and hardware outlet. Vision was to provide a service that could design, supply, or build a client’s project. Aiming at “home improvement segment” The Project Centre expanded within this niche market. The Project Centre have been involved in the Design, Drafting, Permitting, and Building phase in well over 5000 projects small & large since 1993.


Ross is now joined with his daughter Taya in 2005 providing their clients with a design and building experience to ensure clients a design and project service unparalleled in the local industry.
Upon sale of retail business in 2010, the drafting business became a focused stand-alone business to provide experienced design conclusions, professional drafting plans, assist and coordinate with permit services for clients who want value, personalised service and one stop shop outcomes for their projects.
